Ten University of Delaware faculty were recently selected as College of Arts & Sciences Faculty Fellows in the Arts and Humanities. The program is designed to advance the research and creative endeavors of the college's faculty members from new professors to senior scholars. This is the second cohort in the biannual program; the first CAS Faculty Fellows were named in 2021.
“Our Faculty Fellows embody our college’s ongoing research and creative projects,” noted Debbie Hess Norris, interim dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. “This competitive program allows the college to support faculty development while elevating the arts and humanities at UD.”
Fellowships support a wide range of research projects and needs, including wages for research assistants, travel to professional conferences, and opportunities for students to collaborate with fellows in research and community projects.
The Faculty Fellows will meet as a cohort to share their research in-progress during the award period and participate in a public showcase of their projects upon completion of their fellowships in 2025.
