āThis summer, the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures has introduced a new unescorted study abroad program based in Granada, Spain. This program targets high-intermediate and advanced-level students of Spanish and offers advanced-level courses in oral communication and Spanish culture and civilization. In addition to regular college-credit courses, this program offers practical internships for students in professional minors (such as Spanish for Healthcare). With a program fee of only $800, this unescorted summer program will make it possible for even more students to include foreign sojourns as part of their second language training at UD. This new study abroad program runs from June 1st to June 30th, 2019, and features multiple cultural excursions as shown in these photos and videos submitted by program participants.
