Eta Sigma Phi Induction

​The UD chapter (Delta Tau) of the National Honorary Society of Classical Studies, Eta Sigma Phi, initiated 19 new student members on November 10, 2020. The event was organized and hosted by faculty advisor Dr. Marcaline Boyd and Drs. Sukava and Laird joined in the celebration. Eta Sigma Phi is an organization of students whose purpose is to encourage classical scholarship and enhance the appreciation of Greek and Roman culture. Invitation to this prestigious honorary society is extended to students with outstanding achievements in academic excellence . Fifteen of the 19 newest members are also majors/minors in Ancient Greek and Roman Studies.
