Making connections between and across
different fields of inquiry has become
increasingly important in order to
thrive in today’s interconnected world.
The study of world languages and their
literatures and cultures is by its very
nature interdisciplinary, and the DLLC
is engaged in many interdisciplinary
endeavors, including several minors
being offered in conjunction with other
programs, as well as a broad range of
scholarship being carried out by our
faculty and graduate students across
such diverse fields as healthcare,
business, economics, linguistics,
anthropology, film studies, game
studies, art history, and neuroscience,
to name just a few.
