Ms. Anna Ogunnaike presented on ¨UDL in the World Language Classroom¨ at the DECTFL Conference on October 11. How can we use the principles of UDL (Universal Design for Learning) in the world language classroom to better meet the needs of all learners, including those who have IEPs at the secondary level and those who have accommodations at the post-secondary level? Using the three principles of UDL (Provide multiple means of engagement, multiple means of representation, and multiple means of action and expression), Ms. Ogunnaike shared ideas for differentiation in the world language classroom.
