​Susan McKenna is Associate Professor of Spanish and Latin American and Iberian Studies. Her professional interests include nineteenth- and twentieth-century Spanish literature with a specialization in the short story and the Spanish Civil War. She is currently writing a book about Barrie Stavis, an American playwright and journalist who worked in Spain during the civil war. She teaches courses in language, literature, and culture.
