Basia Musik-Moltchanov is an Assistant Professor of Spanish and Foreign Language Pedagogy in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Delaware.  Dr. Moltchanov coordinates the 106 level Spanish courses, teaches several hybrid Spanish language courses, the FLES methods course, and the Foreign Language Education capstone course. Dr. Moltchanov has been directing study abroad programs since 2010 in countries such as Argentina, Costa Rica, and Spain.

Dr. Moltchanov is involved in creating collaborative professional development for both K-12 and University language faculty, and her research interests include supporting K-16 language teachers, student recruitment, and student retention in the field of world language teaching. Dr. Moltchanov also serves as a board member on the Delaware Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages and is the Delaware State Representative for the National Network for Early Language Learning.
