On Wednesday, September 18th Dr. Dennis Looney will be speaking on "What Makes a Course, a Curriculum, a Program in the Humanities Click?"
Despite the fact that enrollments have dropped dramatically in languages and across the humanities, some programs are thriving. What makes a course good, a program strong? What makes a student want to take your course? This presentation will examine various examples of curricular innovation that have proved successful across the landscape of higher education with a focus on new models and experimentation in language departments.
This talk will be at 5:00pm in Gore Hall 208. Reception to Follow.
