Natallia Cherashneva is a Russian Language Instructor, whose interests are adolescent second language acquisition, phonology and syntax, as well as error correction in SLA, especially in the Russian language acquisition by non native speakers. She teaches courses in the Russian language at various levels, including a course on short stories that is designed to make students familiar with the Russian authors through their work, as well as Russia through movies – a course, that reveals the historical and cultural aspects of Soviet Union and Russia through its cinematography.
