Alexander Selimov is an Associate Professor of Spanish & Latin American studies. His scholarship focuses on the intersection between literary, cognitive and cultural studies. He teaches Spanish & Russian language, literature and culture, including interdisciplinary courses on psychoanalytic & cognitive approaches to myth, literary theory & discourse analysis, identity fashioning, and music as political warfare.
